I love setting goals but I wasn’t that good with staying motivated. Sticking with them gets difficult especially with our crazy schedules, our crazy kids, our crazy family, and especially when we don’t feel well.

When one doesn’t feel well, the motivation to stay with the goals set is hard—very hard. But guess what, I’ve got you! We can do this together!

Let’s take it one step at a time. One day at a time, one meal at a time—preparing your mind, body, and soul—can help you succeed!

You’ve got this!!! We got this!!!

How can we prepare for success?

For starters, we need to cultivate a healthy mindset. When you are taking the time to read this, it means that you are considering the idea of living a better, happier life, right?

You deserve a happier and healthier life. You are beautiful (or handsome) inside and out! Imagine what you will be able to accomplish when you would feel at your very best!

The opportunities are endless! Let’s do this!!!

Staying motivated is absolutely within your reach…

  • Make sure they’re your goals, your passion
  • Visualize the results
  • Break the goal down into smaller pieces
  • Tap into other people’s energy
  • Get organized
  • Track results
  • Periodically reward yourself
  • Listen and/or read inspirational stories
  • Keep the big picture in mind
  • Don’t worry about what you can’t control
  • Seek out positive information
  • Remind yourself why you set the goal
  • Be consistent
  • Work with an accountability partner
  • When a failure occurs, dust yourself and move on.

Let’s discover your reason you want to change. Why do you want to do this now? S it because you would like to be pain free? Is it because it would help you achieve your dreams? What would you like to accomplish when you are freed and ready to fly?

YOU are in control.

Those cravings and bad behaviors are influenced by our bad microbiome or bad bugs. They are super sneaky. Remember, those pesky little devils are sabotaging you! Ignore the cravings and start making the decision regarding your own health! You are in control!

Now, it’s time to get out with the old and in with the new.

Bid farewell to all the inflammatory foods that keep sabotaging you, remove and dMotivatedispose of them from all your hiding spots (yes, get rid of the Oreos you are hiding in the cereal box), and focus your attention on nutrient-dense healing foods.

Follow these 10 steps to Success:

  • Stock up on lots of raw veggies, low-glycemic fruits, fresh meats, hardboiled eggs, and nuts for snacks (to tame the inner beast).
  • Bake with coconut, nut, or seed flours, and keep baked goods in the fridge for a quick breakfast or dessert.
  • Set goals and targets
  • Identify your obstacles
  • Come up with a plan of action
  • Set a routine
  • Grocery shop once a week
  • Keep your fridge stocked for success with veggies, nut bars/nuts, fruit, and clean protein sources.
  • Plan your meals ahead of time
  • Build your own positive support system and be prepared to fight off cravings.

I know it is a lot! Don’t overwhelm yourself. Take one meal at a time, one day at a time. Going down that list will make it less overwhelming—it’s that simple.

Have fun! This is an exciting time, as now you are finally in the driver’s seat—nerve wracking and exhilarating all at the same time! Yay! Everything you are doing is empowering you for now and forever!

I need to remind you, that setbacks are actually steps forward. If you find yourself getting off the wagon, it’s okay, just get back on.

Life is full of setbacks. Success is determined by how you handle Setbacks.

Making yourself a priority (yes, even mothers could do this – be a priority) can cultivate a healthier and stronger present and future. Imagine the possibilities when you can fly! I can’t imagine how much you will be able to accomplish! You are worth it. Now let’s fly!
